Chef AJ has been devoted to a plant-exclusive diet for more than 43 years. She hosts the television series Healthy Living with CHEF AJ, which airs on Foody TV. A chef, culinary instructor, and professional speaker, she is the author of the popular book Unprocessed: How to Achieve Vibrant Health and Your Ideal Weight, which chronicles her journey from an obese junk-food vegan faced with a diagnosis of pre-cancerous polyps to learning how to create foods that nourish and heal the body. Her latest bestselling book, The Secrets to Ultimate Weight Loss:  A Revolutionary Approach to Conquer Cravings, Overcome Food Addiction and Lose Weight Without Going Hungry, has received glowing endorsement by many luminaries in the plant-based movement.

 

Dr. Ruth Heidrich

Dr. Ruth Heidrich is a Certified Fitness Trainer, coach, motivational speaker, and breast cancer survivor featured in the documentary Forks Over Knives. A 100% plant-based athlete since 1982, she’s won nearly 1,000 trophies, six Ironman Triathlons, eight Gold Medals in the Senior Olympics, and 67 marathons, including Boston, New York, & Moscow. She ran on the Great Wall of China, holds three World Age-Group Fitness Records at the famed Cooper Clinic in Dallas, TX, and was named “one of the ten fittest women in North America.”

 

Dr. Rosane Oliveira

Dr. Rosane Oliveira is the founder of the Plant-Based Life Foundation, an international nonprofit with a mission to educate and empower people to live happier and healthier lives through positive habit change and the adoption of plant-based nutrition.

Carleigh Bodrug is a self-trained plant-based recipe creator, food blogger, and the founder of the social media community PlantYou. With more than a million followers on her social channels, Carleigh helps thousands of people eat more plants with simple, approachable recipe videos, a podcast, meal plans, and lifestyle tips, without judgment. 

 

Alese Jones

Alese Jones received her teacher training in 1982 from Swami Satchidananda’s Integral Yoga Certification. Since then, she has studied extensively with Sarah Powers, from whom she received her Yin/Mindfulness training. She is also certified in Ashtanga, Primary Series with David Swensen, and holds a BFA in Dance from New York University. Her teaching is grounded in more than 25 years of experience in asana practice and ten years in meditation.

Angelica Kushi

Angelica Kushi loves flying the skies as a professional aerialist and stuntwoman. When she’s on the ground, she’s a yoga teacher and health and wellness educator. Born and raised in a macrobiotic home, her education stems from a lifetime of living a holistic lifestyle. Specializing in creating a relaxed and easeful approach to health, her formal training is from the Kushi Institute, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and extensive studies in Yoga and Tibetan Buddhism with the Asian Classic Institute and Yoga Studies Institute.
