Learn from the Experts
Dr. Dean Ornish, is a world-renowned medical doctor and bestselling author who has been a leading voice in health, healthcare, and medicine for over 35 years. His revolutionary research was the first to demonstrate that eating a whole foods, plant-based diet naturally low in fat and sugar, along with other dietary and lifestyle changes, can often reverse common and costly chronic diseases and make a powerful difference in our health and well-being. Dr. Ornish is also the president and founder of the nonprofit Preventive Medicine Research Institute, and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Kim Williams serves as the Chief of the Division of Cardiology and is the James B. Herrick Endowed Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Rush University Medical Center. He has served as the President of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Black Cardiologists, and President of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Williams became a vegan in 2003 and has written and spoken widely about the cardiovascular benefits of a plant-based diet.
Ocean Robbins is co-founder and CEO of the 500,000 member Food Revolution Network and author of the bestseller, 31-Day Food Revolution: Heal Your Body, Feel Great, and Transform Your World. Ocean founded Youth for Environmental Sanity (YES!) at age 16, and directed it for the next 20 years. He has spoken in person to more than 200,000 people, organized online seminars and events reaching more than a million, and facilitated leadership development events for leaders from 65 nations.
Dr. Brooke Goldner is a board certified medical doctor, creator of the Hyper-nourishing Protocol for Autoimmune Reversal, and author of the books Goodbye Lupus, Goodbye Autoimmune Disease, and others. Dr. Goldner is a regular contributor to T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and is featured in multiple cases studies in the Journal of Disease Reversal for reversing her own lupus and for reversing end-stage lupus nephritis (kidney failure).
Dr. Columbus Batiste is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist and Assistant Clinical
Professor at the University of California Riverside School of Medicine. He leads a non-profit organization, Healthy Heart Nation, that shares information about the benefits of plant-based nutrition, daily exercise, and stress reduction. In 2011, Dr. Batiste led in establishing the Integrative Cardiovascular Disease Program which sought to prevent the recurrence of cardiac events through lifestyle intervention.
Dr. Frank Sabatino is the Program Director of the Balance for Life Health Retreat, a plant-based health/lifestyle education and fasting center in Florida. Dr. Sabatino is a Chiropractic physician who has a Ph.D in cell biology and neuroendocrinology from the Emory University School of Medicine. He has practiced as a plant-based physician for over 45 years. He is one of the world’s leading experts on medically supervised water only fasting.
Tracye McQuirter is a writer, speaker, public health nutritionist, and 33-year vegan who has been teaching people how and why to live a healthy vegan lifestyle for the past 30 years. She was named a national food hero changing the way America eats for the better by Vegetarian Times and is the author of the books Ageless Vegan and By Any Greens Necessary, a national best-seller. She directed the nation’s first federally funded vegan nutrition program and was a nutrition advisor for the Black Women’s Health Imperative.
