Debra Kimless, M.D. graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Muhlenberg College with a double major in Natural Sciences and Biology. She earned her medical degree from Rutgers, completed her residency at Temple University Hospital, and is a board-certified Anesthesiologist with subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine. She is also certified by the American/International Lifestyle Medicine Board and is a certified principal investigator.
Dr. Kimless has been active in the medical cannabis field since 2013, working across a wide range of areas including cultivation, processing, formulation, testing, patient care, and research. She advises industry companies on developing novel formulations targeted for specific medical conditions, creates protocols, obtains IRB approvals, conducts clinical trials, and helps publish study results. In addition, she serves as the head of clinical research at an academic medical center and as a scientific advisor for a cannabis investment company.
Through her work with over 500 patients, Dr. Kimless has helped individuals achieve health goals using nutrition and medical cannabis. She is recognized as one of the few expert physicians who deeply understand the therapeutic potential of cannabis and the endocannabinoid system.
A passionate educator, Dr. Kimless lectures globally, including as a speaker on the Holistic Holiday at Sea, where she shares evidence-based knowledge and advocates for de-stigmatizing medical cannabis.
