Breakfast is served from 7:30-9:00am. Lunch on sea days is 11:30am-1:30pm in the dining room and buffet. Lunch on port days is 12:00-4:00pm in the buffet. Dinner begins at 6pm.

AMA/AAFP Equivalency: AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1. 33 CEUs have been approved by the Florida Boards of Acupuncture, Chiropractic Medicine, Dentistry, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health, Counseling, Psychology, Pharmacy, and the Florida Council of Dietetics and Nutrition. Tickets, Reservations and Fares

Holistic Holiday at Sea cruise fare includes shipboard accommodations and ocean transportation; our holistic program, meals, and socials; port charges; and the ship’s entertainment and amenities, including the gym, salt water pools, and sports facilities.
Besides government fees, tips for your meals and room steward, and a possible fuel surcharge, which are explained on the Rates page, the following are not included: spa treatments and facilities; salon services; wine, liquor and other beverages (except the water or tea served with meals and the complimentary beverages served at our evening socials); shore excursions offered by MSC Cruises; private consultations or treatments you may schedule with our health professionals; and there will be a few workshops that have an additional fee if you choose to take them.

E-tickets will be available about 3 weeks prior to departure. You must complete the web check-in before you can request your e-ticket. You will receive a reminder about completing the web check-in. If you do not have an e-mail address, tickets will be printed and mailed to you about 2 weeks before the cruise.
Online check-in on the MSC Cruises website is available up to 3 days prior to sailing and must be completed before e-tickets can be issued. Prepaid tips for your meals and room steward are included as part of your invoice. Additional tips for your waiter or room steward are optional. A gratuity will be added to beverage purchases automatically.

Travel & Logistics

Note the following carefully when making your flight reservations: The ship departs at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3. You must arrive at the pier at least 90 minutes prior to departure in order to board. The MSC Divina will return to Miami, Florida early in the morning of March 14 and disembarkation will begin about 8:30 a.m. Everyone is generally off the ship by about 10 a.m. MSC Cruises recommends that you schedule a return flight from Miami International Airport at 12:00 p.m. or later, if you are returning on Thursday, March 14. International guests should allow an extra 60-90 minutes, so schedule flights at 1:30 p.m. or later. If flying from the Ft. Lauderdale airport on March 14, MSC Cruises recommends scheduling a domestic return flight at 1:30 pm or later. For Holistic Holiday at Sea guests, there is a special welcome lunch from 12:00-3:00 pm. How early can we embark? Boarding begins on Sunday, March 3, about noon (as soon as Customs clears the ship). You must be on board NO LATER than 5:30 p.m. At what time will we be off the ship at the end of the cruise? Typically, we will disembark between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. MSC recommends that you schedule a return flight at 12:00 p.m. or later, if you are returning on Thursday, March 14. International guests should allow an extra 60-90 minutes, so schedule flights at 1:30 p.m. or later. Allow an extra 60-90 minutes if flying from Ft. Lauderdale. If you want to arrange for early disembarkation at the end of the cruise, go to the MSC hospitality desk mid-week and ask to be placed on the early disembarkation list. Early disembarkation cannot be arranged prior to sailing.
Uber is the least expensive option at about $16 one way between the Miami Airport and Port Miami. You can also take a cab, which are always lined up outside the baggage claim area and currently charge a flat rate of $25 from the Miami Airport to Port Miami or vice versa. If you plan to arrive at or depart from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport on the day the cruise departs or returns and you are traveling alone, it may be less expensive to purchase a transfer. If using a GPS device, enter 1015 N. America Way, Miami, Florida 33132 as the address of your destination. Once at the Port's bridge, turn off your GPS, stay in the left lane, and follow the signs to Terminal D. From the North: Take I-95 South and exit 3B-Bayside. Head south to Northeast 5th Street and turn left. Fifth Street will lead onto the PortMiami bridge. Continue over the bridge and follow signage to Terminal F. From the South: Take I-95 North and exit at Northwest 2nd Street. Head straight to NW 5th Street and make a right. Fifth Street will lead onto the PortMiami bridge. Some people choose to rent a car and drop it off before the cruise, then rent another car for the return home. Some rental agencies, including Budget, have a free shuttle to and from the airport and cruise port. Ask about this if you choose to rent, as options can change. Parking is available at all cruise terminals at the port. The MSC Divina will be docked at Terminal D. The current rate is $20 per day for all standard size vehicles (up to 20-feet). Vehicles longer than 20 feet are charged an additional $22 per day. They accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or any major U.S. Traveler's Check. No debit cards are accepted.
The MSC Divina will be docked at Port Miami, Terminal D.

Packing & Preparation

A passport or passport card is now required for all US and Canadian citizens traveling to or from the Caribbean, Bermuda, Mexico, Central and South America. If you have a passport, please check the expiration date to be sure it will be valid. If you do not have a passport, apply early to avoid backlogs and extra fees. Check new requirements at: travel.state.gov. Naturalized US citizens must bring your US passport. Registered aliens are advised to bring a valid passport, a Resident Card and a government issued photo ID (eg., driver’s license). Citizens of other countries need a valid passport and may need a valid U.S. multiple entry permit visa, since you will be entering the US to embark on the cruise and re-entering the US at the end of the cruise. Please check current visa requirements with your Consulate General or a travel agent in your area to be sure you have the required documents. No visas are required for US or Canadian citizens or citizens of countries that are part of the Visa Waiver Program. You are responsible for obtaining and bringing all necessary travel documents and for complying with customs and immigration requirements. Guests without proper documentation will not be allowed to board the vessel, and no refund of cruise fare will be given to any guest failing to bring such documentation. Your first and last name on your passport must match the first and last name on your ticket. The ship operates on a cashless system. All charges incurred while onboard will be charged to your credit card in one payment at the end of the cruise, unless you choose to pay the total in cash. Credit cards (Visa, Master Card and American Express) are accepted on board. Visa and Master Card are also accepted by most vendors in the ports. Therefore, you will not need to bring very much cash. MSC does not accept Discover for onboard purchases.
Light, casual clothing is the norm. Don’t forget your swimwear, and if you plan to participate in yoga, Pilates or other exercise classes, we suggest loose cotton clothing or other comfortable attire. We recommend that you bring a yoga mat if you plan to participate in yoga or Pilates classes. After 6:00 pm, jeans, t-shirts, shorts, and bare feet are discouraged in the ships' public areas. The ship has three gala nights for optional evening attire at dinner. Typically, on these two nights at dinner there is a range from “smart casual” or business attire to formal wear. The weather is generally warm at this time of year, but it can be cool and breezy in the mornings and evenings out on the deck. Also, although all cabins are air conditioned and individually controlled, we are not able to control the temperature in the public spaces such as the dining room and lecture rooms, which may be cool, so a sweater or light jacket is recommended.
In addition to the basics such as soap, shampoo, and towels, each cabin has a hair dryer, safe, mini-bar/refrigerator, phone and interactive TV.
Each guest is allowed to bring up to 200 pounds of personal luggage on board the ship. Airlines weight limitations may be less than 200 pounds. Luggage tags will be part of your e-ticket and they can also be picked up curbside at the pier. Be sure to use the luggage tags on your baggage to ensure their delivery to your cabin.
  • You can take advantage of your wireless devices while at sea. With MSC's onboard service, you can make and receive calls using your own mobile phone and telephone number.
  • Charges will appear as "roaming charge" on your regular monthly bill from your telecommunications carrier. Rates are very high and are set by each home carrier. We recommend checking with your home carrier prior to traveling.

Ship-to-shore telephone service is available while the ship is at sea or in port from your stateroom. You’ll find a telephone and dialing instructions in your cabin. Since it is a satellite phone service, it is expensive. If you need to be reached by people at home, have them contact the ship directly. The emergency contact number for the MSC Divina will be provided with the information that you will receive along with your cruise documents a few weeks before the sailing. The Cyber Café has PCs for checking email and surfing the Internet. Just follow the instructions found on the home page to register and select the amount of credit you require. The amount selected will be charged directly to your on-board account. You can also buy a Wi-Fi package and use your own laptop or PDA. Just connect to the ship’s network, available via a wireless connection in all common areas of the ship or in your cabin. Just select the daily or weekly package you require and it will be charged directly to your on-board account. Configuration and Activation: Your MSC Wi-Fi card is already active and ready for use. All you have to do is open your browser. The system automatically connects you to the MSC Wi-Fi portal. Insert your Username and Password (provided on paper). Remember, you can buy the card from the Information Office. Conditions: The service is made possible by means of a shared bandwidth satellite connection. For this reason, the service may be slower during peak usage times. Any unused credit cannot be refunded, and the card will be automatically cancelled at the end of the cruise.
Yes, there are outlets in each cabin for both domestic and EU appliances.
Yes, towels are available poolside as well as for excursions.
US citizens are allowed $800 worth (retail price) of duty-free merchandise. Persons over 21 may include 1 quart of liquor.

Amenities, Special Requests & Accommodations

The gym (Aurea Fitness Center), which is located within the Aurea Spa, is free of charge. We have secured a special group rate for use of the Thermal area of the spa, including the steam baths and saunas. If pre-purchased at least 7 days prior to our departure date, the Thermal pass is $100 per person for the duration of the cruise. Yes, MSC offers two free programs for children and two for teenagers between the ages of 12 and 17. Children must be at least 3 years old in order to participate in the young children’s program. The Mini Club is for children ages 3 to 6, while the Juniors Club is for ages 7 to 11. Older children are divided into the "Y-Team" (age 12-14) and the "Teen Club" (age 15-17). Children have special counselors and interactive, age-appropriate activities, focusing on sports, arts and crafts, theater and technology. The ship is also equipped with video games. You can find more details here. On both days in port and days at sea the Mini Club and Junior Clubs are open from 9:00am to 11:00pm. Parents can leave their children in the safe hands of the mini club staff while they enjoy shore excursions or simply relax on board. Parents who wish to leave their children in the Kids Club while they participate in an MSC Shore Excursion need to advise the Kids Club Staff on board at least one day before the excursion.
Our Holistic Holiday at Sea menu is entirely vegan and made from scratch using high quality whole foods. Almost all dishes will be gluten free, and when gluten is in some part of the meal, it will be clearly marked on the menu, and a gluten free option will almost always be available. We will also have a vegan menu option with no added oil. In addition to our vegan menus, the MSC Cruises menu will be available at every meal. Simply ask your waiter to bring the MSC menu if you are interested, or visit the ship’s buffet on deck 14. If you are allergic to some foods, please be sure to check the ingredients lists that will be posted at the entrance to our dining room for each meal. There are a limited number of handicapped-equipped staterooms. Check with our reservations department for availability. If you require a wheelchair for embarkation and disembarkation, this should be requested 30 days prior to departure. Wheelchairs may not be available on board, but you may bring your own wheelchair or electric scooter. Again, notify Lorraine Travel ahead of time if you plan to bring one.
